ResumeReady is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains exactly how we handle information when you use ResumeReady.
When you use the resume builder, you provide:
We also collect standard technical information automatically — IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
The information you enter is used solely to generate your resume and cover letter. It is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce the resume text. We do not store your resume content in any database after your session ends.
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties except as strictly required to deliver the service: Anthropic's API for AI generation, Stripe for payment processing, and Vercel for hosting.
Your resume content is not stored after your browser session ends. The AI generates your resume in real time and displays it only in your browser. We do not maintain a database of user-generated resumes.
Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card details.
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not see, store, or have access to your credit card or bank information. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment data: stripe.com/privacy.
ResumeReady is designed for Grade 9–12 students (approximately ages 14–18). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please have a parent or guardian complete the process on your behalf.
You may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold, request deletion, or ask questions about this policy. We respond within 24 hours.
If you are in Canada, the UK, or the EU/EEA, you have additional rights under PIPEDA, UK GDPR, and EU GDPR respectively.
We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand page visits — no personal data is collected or shared through analytics.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
